Welcome to the 2023 Bangkok Literature Festival, a celebration of books and ideas in the heart of Thailand’s capital! The two-day event features more than 50 renowned local and international authors, poets, and storytellers for a truly global experience. Showcasing the richness and diversity of the literary world, the Festival embraces the spirit of creativity and cultural exchange. Whether you’re a devoted bookworm, budding writer or just curious, there’s something for you.

A weekend full of talks, author interviews, workshops, poetry readings, book signings and Q&A sessions, the Festival demonstrates the power of literature to forge connections and bring people together in our increasingly divided world. It encourages questions, inspires wonder, gives voice to those who too often go unheard, and enables new narratives to emerge.

The Bangkok Literature Festival also celebrates literature’s ability to transcend boundaries, bringing writers and readers from Thailand, Southeast Asia, and the world together in the heart of Bangkok. Join us, be part of this vibrant literary scene and see stories come alive.
